This isn’t exactly abnormal news nor odd information… more like Shameless Self Promotion.  Our sister site, GaySocialites.com, kicked off their annual awards voting this year.

For the 2011 GaySocialites.com, voters get to pick the GaySocialite of the Year, a celebrity who has promoted LGBT rights, in addition to presenting citations for contributions to LGBT nightlife, online community, entertainment and through leadership or service.

“We’ve nominated those we feel have done an outstanding job this year, and we hope you feel the same,” said GaySocialites.com’s Editor-in-Chief Thomas Bistritz.

Nominees include gay porn start Brent Everett, king of sleaze Daniel Nardicio, BoxersNYC nightclub, Lady Gaga, Jane Lynch, musical artist Wynter Gordon, transgender performer Dina Marie and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Bistritz added, “Please vote on your favorites, as often as you’d like, and join us in celebrating an exciting year in the LGBT community.”

The voting will take place over the next few weeks at GaySocialites.com.  Anyone with a valid e-mail address is invited to vote.
