It’s no real secret that I’m not doing the best recaps of “Dancing with the Stars” this season, because I’m really only in it to see heart throb William Levy shake his stuff.  However, this week the big news falls on another star.  Melissa Gilbert was evidently rushed to the hospital after what judge Bruno Tonioli called her “best performance by far”.

Gilbert may have gone into shock, because she got low balled by Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba who served up a “7″ each despite Melissa’s amazing number. The forner Screen Actors Guild president who is best known for her role in “Little House on the Prairie” underwent surgery to replace a disc as well as fuse a vertebra in her lower spine in 2010. However, no word yet on whether or not that is related to Monday nights injury on “Dancing with the Stars”. Host Tom Bergeron delivered the news at the end of the show saying, “She injured herself… and as a precaution she’s gone to the hospital to get checked out.”

But as I’ve already mentioned, I’m on hotty watch this year. The only reason I watch any portion of DWTS is to check on Latin actor William Levy. Although he has sat comfortably near the top of the score board each week, that isn’t the case following Monday night’s jive. You can watch the video of Levy’s dance here:

Sadly, William didn’t look as hot as he normally does this week either. I think he tried to pull off the leathery look for Rock Week a little too much and lost focus of the real reason he is in the competition. That is, of course, as eye candy. He may have scored higher, but Carrie Ann and Bruno have made it clear that
