CHEER LOS ANGELES to Raise Spirits—and Funds—at
Christopher Street West’s Los Angeles LGBT Pride Festival and Parade

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (June 6, 2012) – The spirited men and women of CHEER LOS ANGELES (Cheer LA) are honored to bring their brand of charitable cheerleading for community causes to the 2012 Los Angeles LGBT Pride festival and parade presented by Christopher Street West (CSW) on Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10 as part of the squad’s summer LGBT pride tour to raise funds for local HIV/AIDS organizations!
For over a decade, Cheer LA has performed for hundreds of thousands of spectators lining Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood during the annual LA Pride Parade. In 2011, CSW invited the team to help kick off mainstage festivities inside the festival grounds for the first time. This year, Cheer LA is proud to return to this year’s festival with a brand-new, high-flying stunt performance and Madonna-inspired dance routine on Saturday, June 9 at 3:20pm and Sunday, June 10 at 3:50pm.
After Saturday’s mainstage performance, Cheer LA will help welcome this year’s participants in the AIDS/Lifecycle Ride to End AIDS as they end their seven-day, 545-mile bicycle journey from San Francisco to Los Angeles in order to raise HIV/AIDS awareness raise money of the L.A. Gay Lesbian Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
