Nick Adams, star of the Broadway hit Priscilla Queen of the Desert, is teaming up with fellow theater folk Ashley Brown, Jessica Rush, Michael James Scott and director Jeff Calhoun for a one-night-only performance of Jason Robert Brown’s Songs for a New World at XL Nightclub on March 11. The evening of entertainment, which just had a second late show added, will double as a benefit for The Performing Arts Project, which helps train up-and-coming young artists for the stage. “It’s a really beautiful collection of songs to benefit a performing arts program—it just seemed like a really good fit,” Adams explains. To help all the Broadway hopefuls looking for their first big break, we asked  the Erie, Penn. native’s advice on how to land that first big role.
