NBA player Lamar Odom was traded over the weekend. He’ll be leaving the Los Angeles Lakers and heading for Dallas. However, the media seems more concerned with how it will affect his wife, Khloe Kardashian.
For those of you who care, most outlets are reporting that Khloe seems fine with it.
According to the Washington Post, Khloe tweeted the following two messages on Saturday:
“We are all sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative.” Then she later said, “Everything happens for a reason. God is great.”
It probably just means that Ryan Seacrest Productions, the producer of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” on E! will get be working on a new show. This takes her away from the family’s flagship show. Khloe, however, left the show once to “Take Miami.” Her sisters, Kim and Kourtney, currently “Take New York” on a nother spin-off.
ESPN is reporting, however, that Odom may have asked to go to Dallas after he skipped a few days of camp.
Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak praised Odom for his time in L.A.
“Lamar was a fine player for us in his seven years with the Lakers and was a key to helping us win two championships,” Kupchak said. “In addition, he always conducted himself with class and professionalism and we wish him well in the remainder of his career.”
Khloe may be okay with the news that Lamar was heading to Dallas, however his Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant is reportedly “angry” over the trade.
The SF Gate reports that Kobe had this to say on Sunday:
“To be honest with you, I don’t like it.”
